Bernie is the Founder & Director of NEDDE Training and a BACP (Accredited) Counsellor/Psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience. She qualified in 2004 and trained as a Master Practitioner in Eating Disorders and Obesity.

Bernie co-founded NEDDE Training to address the lack of support for neurodivergent individuals (such as those with ADHD, autism, and dyslexia) who also struggle with eating disorders and disordered eating. As a senior lecturer and mentor, she is passionate about helping people understand these complex issues.
