Lectures by Alison Letlow

Alison Letlow is a BACP- registered integrative psychotherapist who works with adults, young people and couples. She is currently based in London and works in private practice. Her trauma-informed approach is rooted in Psychodynamic and Person-Centred theory, integrating somatic polyvagal interventions to support nervous system regulation. She works with a variety of client groups and issues, with a particular focus on how childhood trauma affects clients in adulthood. This has led to Alison developing and facilitating workshops based on inner child work, allowing adults to explore childhood wounds, unmet needs and attachment issues in a safe and supportive environment.

Before training as a therapist, she gained more than a decade of experience within the caring professions. Thereafter, she gained clinical experience supporting children in schools and working with adults within NHS talking therapies, which provided her with a strong therapeutic foundation to build upon.

Beyond the therapy room, Alison is a passionate speaker who delivers speaking engagements for support groups to raise awareness of trauma recovery and improve emotional well-being. She is committed to providing a safe and compassionate space where clients feel comfortable exploring all aspects of themselves. She encourages reflection and dialogue, supporting both individuals and groups to develop self-awareness and resilience, leading to personal growth.
