Rebecca began counselling training in 2021, completed her Level 5 Diploma in 2026, and has her sights set on an MSc and PhD in the future. Her formal client work is based in a PTSD and complex trauma service in the north of England.  She aims to work with an integrative blend of philosophy and science.

Her background is in English, writing, and theatre, which she collectively blames for her love of working with metaphor, her love of phenomenology, and her enjoyment of working with interpreters. Her research interests are varied, and have included the historical recording of mental illness, depictions of mental illness within the works of Shakespeare, and AI storytelling.

Rebecca has an interest in lecturing and is usually found at a conference somewhere in the world. She's enjoying exploring myriad options at this early stage of her career.
