Payment Failed

This section will help you sort out an unwelcome payment failure.

Select the option below that fits best.

If you don't find your answer, please email me ken@counsellingtutor.com and I will look into it for you.

Sometimes a card payment can fail and it just seems to make no sense at all.

Most often it is your own bank that stops payment and this is easy to fix.

You can fix this in 3 easy steps

  1. Call your bank using the telephone number at the back of your card
  2. Ask the bank why they blocked payment to Counselling Tutor
  3. Ask them to not block your future payments

Note: the payment request is from Counsellor Tutor Ltd (thats our company name)

I will run the payment sequence again in a few days and your membership will be fully restored.

Once you have spoken to your bank, they will not block your membership again.

You can, of course, cancel your membership yourself anytime you like by emailing me ken@counsellingtutor.com

Why do banks block card payment for no reason?

Your Bank looks at your regular payment history and if they see something that does not match your usual pattern, they block the transaction.

A recurring payment is more likely to trigger as unusual behaviour than a straight purchase, especially if you don't often buy things on recurring payment.

Counsellor Tutor Ltd, that runs Kids Entertainer Academy, is based in the United Kingdom. Having a recurring transaction being paid to another country can also trigger the payment to be blocked.
